Account Manager New Business
Astragy is a young and dynamic company that provides competitive intelligence applications. Astragy's customer base is fast
growing and consists mainly of large multinational corporations.
We are looking for team oriented individuals, with excellent communication skills and an interactive attitude. The work will
be caried out in small teams, from home or our office in the city of Amsterdam. The work is often hectic and
with many deadlines, personal time management skills are a must.
Job description
The Account Manager New Business is primarily responsible for acquiring new customers in the business-to-business market. The
target group consists of the top-1500 companies in The Netherlands, Belgium and Western Germany. The contactperson is usually the Business Intelligence
Manager or the CIO. The Account Manager New Business targets the specific customer needs in the area of Competitive Intelligence
and advises on the possible solutions based on Astragy's enterprise application Astragy Competitor. He/she has an influence on
Astragy's commercial policy and pays a large contribution to the company's growth in turnover.
Activities
As the Account Manager New Business you independantly contact prospects. You use your existing network and actively expand it.
You detect possibilities and create opportunities by pro-actively apporaching suspects. Together with the Managing Director
you develop a realistic annual sales- and accountplan, based on the set annual target. You have the authority and the
responsibility to arrange your work according to your own ideas, within company procedures and methods.
During and after the implementation phase you are the customer's commercial contact and you work in close coopration with
the business consultant. You take care of the implementation of contracts and agreements both in your own organization as
with the customer. On average, new business requires 75% of your time, accountmanagement 25%.
Requirements
- HBO/ WO level
- Consultative seller
- Minimum of 5 years relevant exeperience in enterprise software sales
- Experience in sales to corporate customers
- Experience in Business Intelligence is a benefit
- Enterpreneurial skills and pro-active mentality
- Knowledge of information management
- Ambition to grow within the company
